Samira has been exhibiting for over ten years. Since qualifying from The London Institute of Art and Design with a BA in Drawing in 2002 Samira has become a professional artist and arts facilitator. Samira has had her art studio based in London for the last ten years but recently has moved to Brighton and is currently developing Zu Studios with an artistic collective in Lewes, Sussex.

Samira always has a variety of commissions and art projects on hand. Samira absolutely loves running workshops as she has great fun working with people and learns so much whilst doing it.
Samira is passionate about helping people to understand that the gift of being creative is available to everyone and should not be focused on the results but the experience.
Illustration work led to story ideas which has led to a successful career expansion in performance art and storytelling.
Samira has recited her stories for an ITV programme, has been offered a publishing deal for Freddie Fox and has performed her poetry at schools and art events around the country.
Samira is inspired by amazing artists she shares spaces with and these collaborations combined with commissions offered have lead to an variety of artistic projects.
However her main focus and passion has been and still is her 2D art. To Samira each piece of work has it’s own unique energy and to her it really is a birth and she has so much pleasure from seeing the picture find it’s home.
